I have some questions with performance camshafts. I noticed that scat is the cheapest but can it be used or it dies really quick? One guy from USA told me that he has never seen scat cams working more than 1200miles. is it really so bad? What about scat lifters? are they harder than stock ones or not? Sorry mates, I don't speak finnish but I would like to make 1 thread here to get some help. Im your neighbour from estonia. I have a bug with stock engine but I added some turbo with 30PSI of boost on best days :) It last quite little time but when it rides it breaks gearboxes and makes 13s on quarter. Now I decided to use type4 engine on it with 091 gearbox with bigger turbo and my old type1 engine and few stock gearboxes are waiting in my garage corner for better times. I drive ice and snow tracks with bmw and yesterday when I was beated of 2 toyota mr2 I thaught why I cant use my engine and other stock parts in some another body on ice and snow. what would be the MUST HAVE mods for that? I think IRS is the first thing ? what else? what should be made for being as fast as bmw325? thank you.
