Guest Combiwagen1969
Has anyone ever heard of anyone de-seaming a bus? It is done to a lot of Beatles but what about doing it to a bus? take out the seams and probably the 'gutter' that runs along each side of the roof. If anyone has any pictures I'd be interested to see them. Not sure weather to just go ahead and do it - would be nice to see what it looks like first. J Quote Link to comment
joksa
I've been playing with the idea of de-seaming vertical panel seams with lead. If nobody doesn't buy my bus, I might do it. Quote Link to comment
Guest Combiwagen1969
Lead? How would that work? wouldn't there be problems with painting it afterwards? I was just going to weld and grind Quote Link to comment
Hebster52
Before the time when there was the polyesterfillers all cars was leadfilled. The "real car customizers" still use Leadfilling as they claim that there is no substitute... ;) The welds on the roof and fronthood on this was leadfilled too ;) http://www.volkkaripalsta.com/keskustelu/topic/2952-kidvrod-projekti-valmis/ Quote Link to comment
