JOINT ANNOUNCEMENT______ April 8, 2015____ After 46 years of making quality parts for the air-cooled VW enthusiasts, DEE Engineering, Inc. has decided to sell its BUGPACK Products line to EMPI, Inc. You are all very familiar with both companies as EMPI has been around for over 40 years. EMPI has acquired all the rights, inventory, tooling, trade names etc. for the BUGPACK Products line. DEE Engineering will still continue manufacturing and marketing their PROTHANE line of urethane based performance parts for all cars. We felt the time was right for both companies to make it happen considering the directions both companies were going. This sale will ensure you of a continuing strong supply of quality parts to sell in the aftermarket industry. Starting April 8, 2015 all new orders for Bugpack Products must be directed to EMPI, Inc. If you are not a current EMPI customer, call 714-446-9606 to get set-up as an EMPI, Inc. customer and keep your supply of parts coming. DEE has made many friends with BUGPACK customers and is very thankful for the patronage and loyalty over the years. PROTHANE customers will still be doing business directly with Dee Engineering.
